Democracy is fragile. So is fascism, it seems.

Romeo Whiskey Tango, continued.
Rich white trash enable him. Why? Tax cuts.

I’m turning 54 soon. Not feeling celebratory because my country, the USA, is a shithole. Though the masses are inspiring the heck out of me, so it isn’t 100% gloom-and-doom. While wealthier citizens and institutions are obeying the fascist rich white trash in advance, the masses are not.

If the wealthy seem crazier, it isn’t you. They’re losing it because all is not proceeding according to the plan laid out by RWT. The RWT agenda is a minority agenda. It benefits them only, at the expense of the masses. And they know it. While a tiny group controls the majority of the wealth, never forget that they number in the few when compared to the population at large. A minority overwhelmingly controls everyone’s money and only wants more. They know they are outnumbered and unpopular. This is why the unhinged energy emanates.

The country is long past the “overwhelming GOP victory” narrative, which lost steam even before DOGE began to fizzle, and now many GOP voters question the game plan. Those folks show up to the town halls of those few GOP officials brave enough to still hold town halls and let the politicians have it. (Verbally, I mean. Gotta clarify these types of statements with all of the turbulence in the air.) The venom rocks. I don’t agree with MAGA but if they shout at the same people I shout at, they realize. And that’s what matters in the near term. Unlike them, many high-net-worth individuals have chosen to continue supporting the Silicon Valley and Project 2025 agenda, even though it has now ventured into protect-wealthy-pedophiles-above-all-else territory. It was bad before. Now it’s evil.

Some rich folks grasp how vile and inhuman this is. (I’m not talking about the ones who openly denounce it. Those people stand with the cool people, they rock.) I’m talking about both the ones who remain silent and also the ones who go overboard with the “both sides are bad” mumbo-jumbo in order to silence others. Chris Cuomo, ladies and gentlemen.

If the moneyed crowd appears to have taken a right turn on Crazy Street, it could be because deep-down, their souls are yelling, “WHAT THE EVER-LIVING FUCK, MAN—I AM ETERNAL, YO!?!” at the collective consciousness.

True, the bank accounts are huge and the perks are perky. But along with the new conundrums connected to Epstein/Maxwell, there’s also those intrusive visions of guillotines and pitchforks that suddenly materialize out of nowhere. Some trickle-down-economics beneficiaries have been hallucinating since the Great Recession years, others after they struck it rich during Covid. If only the poors could understand the pain, torture, and discomfort that comes after sighting existential threats dancing around in the air, brightly-colored and animated, sometimes singing songs as they dance.

Income inequality. It devastates lower-income lives. It drives its beneficiaries crazy.

Neoliberalism has been fascism’s silent partner for decades, the Carter Burke to its xenomorph. In 2025, some of the not-as-Right-leaning totalitarians are wrestling with their views in ways that we, thankfully, cannot fathom.

I write fiction and have two dark comedies available, Fearkiller (Volume 1) and Notes from Trillionaire Island: Fearkiller (Volume 2), as well as Revolutionizer Alpha, the first book in a sci-fi series. I also wrote a story about God. It was weird, but then I decided to make the story and its sequel free. And all of the sudden, it didn’t seem as weird. Writing about God is much less weird when you write about God without charging money for itHere’s my professional site, my tradeFollow me on Medium.
