Is it me, or did somebody tinkle in the Master Race petri dish? And they’re only getting weirder.

High-net-worth shareholders who want Donald Trump’s tax cuts control traditional media. So traditional media newsrooms get directed to tell viewers that the USA’s current situation is more hopeless for democracy than it actually is, that insecure white nationalist incels now run everything and hundreds of millions of Americans need to give in. Doesn’t help that Neoliberal Democrats are performatively shrugging their shoulders while exclaiming, “Welp…I guess the free market wants fascism, everybody.”

Big obey in advance energy.

And yeah, it’s transparent. The actual problem is obvious: those with the most money are worried most about this money and see the masses as a threat to this money. The irrationality and paranoia, the backs-against-the-wall vibe…people are talking about it.

I came up with the title Bros: America’s new Jews some years ago after it occurred to me that my country’s anti-Semites behave in ways that mirror their anti-Semitic stereotypes more than anything else. But that’s American Exceptionalism for you: pinching pennies while slinging “cheap Jew” jokes, shaming others for one’s own misbehavior, being sneaky and conniving while stating that sneaky and conniving men are inferior, flaunting one’s systemic white privilege.

Donald Trump got elected president for a reason.
